Artist Statement

RoAnn Elias-Contemporary Artist

I am inspired and influenced by the wonderful artwork of many artists. I have learned from their techniques and their ability to touch the viewer. I have filtered these ideas into a style that is uniquely my own. I love to experiment with how paints reacts to a variety of textures and techniques. I then combine the experimental with my subject matter. I encourage the dichotomy between them and through this work came my signature style.
